Report on Quickplay

The Quickplay went smoothly, attracting no fewer than 40 entries. Polytechnic members did particularly well. (It didn't hurt that Andrew Greet and Iain Swan managed to avoid each other!)
The leaders were: 1 Andrew Greet (5/5); 2 Iain Swan (4.5/5); 3 Douglas Bryson, Rob Colston, D McCormack, and Jalal Shaheen (4/5). The under-1750 grading prize was shared by A Ahmed, I Brownlee, J Eldridge, N Lindsay, and N Skettos (3/5). The under-1400 prize was shared by C Lay P and S Komaris (3/5).
