New face at top... with only four chasers a half-point behind!

The sixth round was largely played on March 2 at the club. No summaries this time. My apologies.

Robert finally lost his unbeaten record, and Craig leapfrogged him into top spot. Chris and Graeme, one half-point behind at start of play, remained so after a very tight draw. This gave Danny a chance to join the chasing group, which he grabbed against James with his usual attacking flair. Elsewhere Matt moved close behind the leaders after a win with Black against Keiran. Not close enough to win, but enough to influence the championship. Dairena continued fine form with win over Jim, whilst Scott, Alexei Rob and Jim proved that you CAN draw chess matches. Alex who had kindly stepped in from his full-point by to float upwards, face Eric, and give everyone a game. Eric refound his form and won. There's gratitude for you. Bob eventually closed out Neve in a very interesting match which highlighted that her point count does not reflect her play.
